Kristina Nishi-Beckingham

Born and raised in Vancouver, Kristina fell in love with performing at a young age. She started dancing at the age of 3 and has been teaching/choreographing since the age of 14. She was fortunate to be trained in a variety of styles such as Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Musical Theatre, and Contemporary. By 2011, Kristina found her love for Hip-Hop and incorporated freestyle and battling into her training. She started exploring different styles of street dance such as Hip-Hop, Popping, Animation, Locking, House, and Waacking. She has had the pleasure of travelling around the world, including Germany, Denmark, Italy, Philippines, Mexico, the US and throughout Canada to compete in various international competitions. She has been dancing with Studio North since its opening in 2019 and is so excited to continue to share her knowledge, love and passion for dance.
