Tekee Karlo

Tekee Karlo, a Toronto native, has been passionate about dance from a young age. He began his formal training at the Deborah Thompson School of Dance, where he was introduced to Dancehall, Afro, and Hip Hop. Driven by dedication and a desire to continually evolve, Tekee expanded his dance vocabulary by training under renowned choreographers including Luther Brown, Leon Blackwood, Trevor Brown, Tatiana Parker, and Shameka Blake.

Tekee has performed with internationally acclaimed artists such as Dancehall icons Tasha T and Beenie Man. He toured with Afrobeat sensation Asake and traveled to London’s Notting Hill Carnival to perform with Afro B and Maleek Berry. His on-screen presence includes music videos for global stars like Sean Paul, Rihanna, Drake, Yemi Alade, Mr. Vegas, and Ding Dong.

As a choreographer, Tekee has created work for Canadian artist Roy Woods, World of Dance, and Fever After Dark. He was also featured in the Emmy Award-winning Disney film Sneakerella. His brand collaborations include major names such as Nike, Adidas, Hennessy, Captain Morgan, and the Super Bowl.

Committed to making a positive impact through the arts, Tekee continues to inspire others, bring joy through movement, and stay deeply connected to his Jamaican heritage as he advances in his professional journey.
