Abby Chung

Abbygale Chung is a professional dancer and choreographer born in Edmonton, now based in Vancouver. From early on, Abby idolized versatile, adaptable dancers. She strived to become that by training in a wide array of styles growing up, and has continued to push herself to perform across genres. Some of her credits include Riverdale, Bring It On: Halloween, Masked Singer Canada and attending Los Angeles' Millennium Dance Complex Certificate Program with the support of an Alberta Arts Foundation grant. Most recently, she choreographed a commercial in partnership with PlanIt Sound along with additional choreography found in an array of music videos, short films and live performances for local artists. Her teaching style is a fusion of commercial dance and jazz funk. Abby aims to challenge one’s versatility and athleticism by mixing together contrasting styles. “To always be striving for more” is the driving force behind her creativity, work ethic and passion for teaching.
